Prior in Companies Act, 1956, the focal government used to perceive organizations as Nidhi Companies in view of specific criteria. The criteria were by and large the paid up capital, number of individuals, benefit, and so on. In view of the variables, the administration at that point perceives the organization as Nidhi Company and Companies were given the Nidhi status. It was the general practice in those circumstances. 

No Nidhi Status Required 

Presently, with the approach of Companies Act, 2013 organizations does not require any Nidhi status, and they are straight away endorsed with as a Nidhi status subject to guidelines and controls as might be recommended. 

Consequently, it is clear, and the myth has been busted that organizations require any Nidhi status from the legislature. 

It was the act of the past and has no pertinence under the new current law.
