IMPORT EXPORT CODE (IEC)

How to Apply.

The application for Import Export Code is online. The applicant must have a valid PAN, mobile number and an email address. The login ID should be created in the DGFT website using PAN. Once the ID is created the application fee to be paid and then the applicant can fill up the details of business such as name, address, details of the partner/director, nature of export etc. The applicant must select the jurisdiction of the DGFT office where the application need to be submitted based on the business address. All required documents like copy of PAN card, Bank Certificate/Cancelled Cheque and photograph of the applicant etc. to be attached. The application need to be signed digitally by applicant and submit Online.

After verification of the details and correctness of the documents, the IEC certificate will be allotted by the department. IF any correction required the application will send back and the applicant need to rectify the mistake and resubmit the application for approval.

Documents Required.

• PAN card copy of the Applicant
• Cancelled Cheque or Bank Certificate
• Photograph of the authorised signatory
• Digital Signature.
