Hi,
As a taxpayer if you need to file a NIL return, you need to put 0 (Zero) in all the relevant fields of GST return form available online.
Some bugs have been identified in GST portal as it was found to accept negative values as well. So care must be given while filling up the return form.
GST portal is evolving and going forward we may expect a single click Nil Return filing feature until then it has to be done manually.
